Shapesmith Volume 1
Saturday, February 27th I'll be selling my new sketch book...Shape smith Volume 1 at The New York Comic Book Marketplace.It's jammed packed with all sorts of funky shape drawings that came from my massive head!
It's $10 to get in. I'll also be selling prints and my Monsters Book alongside the beautiful Cynthea Mazur who will also have beautiful prints to sell!

I guess I'm on a Nintendo trip. This was a shape drawing. Trying to do that more often. Though....I should be doing it all the time...trouble is that it's not second nature for me sometimes.

Apple Girl Complete
A while ago I posted a sketch of this Apple Girl Illustration I was working on. I finally completed.
I'm really happy with it because while I feel like I'm really good at using watercolor for sketching from life or just coloring a character quickly I find it harder to plan an illustration with watercolor. When I do finish one I usually don't like it.
This one was different because I thought about it for a bit (way too long,) and created a color thumbnail for it which helped immensely. I also had a false start but it proved to be useful since the second time was much easier and I felt more prepared to finish it off.
I'm going to be making more Illustrations like these in the future.
